What Is My Horse Worth?
When someone asks someone else what their horse is worth on Howrse, they usually get really unhelpful answers. I, however, despise unhelpful answers. So here are some "What's My Horse Worth?" basics- for more specifics, Contact Me, or post a comment below!
Of course these are rough estimates. It really does depend on the horse, the age- and much more. If you watch the sales long enough you will learn., but it is easiest to get an accurate answer if you ask me.
If your horse has these attributes but has some BMIs as well, then contact me- it all depends on the BMI.
Buying:
- Check the horse inside and out to make sure he's worth the asking price in the Direct Sales.
- In auctions, keep the page open and refresh it every 30 seconds to keep up with the bids. Don't bid until there's only 10 minutes left.
- In the reserved sales, if you have no clue why a horse was reserved for you PM the player before you accept the horse.
Selling:
- In auctions, start all foals off at 500e no matter what you think it's worth because it'll get bid up real (high (usually) that way.
- In the direct sales, horses worth it can be sold for Equus and passes! See the "On Passes" page for what makes a horse worth it.
- In the reserved sales make sure you reserved the player name correctly!

- If your horse has a GP of less than 700: It probably isn't worth more than 500e-1000e. Direct sales are your best bet.
- If the horse has a GP of 800-900: it is probably worth about 5000e-9000e.
- If the horse has a GP of 900-1500: it is probably worth about 10 000e to 15000
- If the horse has a GP of 2000-3000: You've got something really valuable. Shoot for the moon- a pass or two might be in order as well.
